a_Arrow  Looking for: US 442nd Infantry Regiment / US 100th Infantry Battalion
I am trying to located scenarios that include the US 442nd Infantry Regiment and the US 100th Infantry Battalion.

Does anyone know of any?

I am guessing that if they exist, they would just be found within PzC Salerno?

Thanks

I think you're right. IIRC, the 442nd RCT went into action for the first time in 1944 at Anzio.

The 100th Bn was attached to the 442nd at that time, serving as their 1st Bn. The original 1st Bn had remained in CONUS to train Nisei replacements, and was later reflagged as the 171st Infantry Bn (Sep).

The 100th was allowed to retain it's original designation and remained with the 442nd throughout.

I don't have Salerno, but if there are any Anzio scenarios in the game, I'll bet there's a decent chance they'll be there.

The 442nd Regiment did not arrive in Italy until June 1944 which is after the time covered in the Anzio scenarios. I looked at the OOB's and could not find them in any Allied formation.

Sorry but I did not realize that I had bold selected.

Ok Thanks guys.

That is disappointing news.

At this point, I think that there is a slim chance of any WDS titles covering any of their actions.

It would be nice to locate some, especially since they were such a heavily decorated and highly regarded unit.

Thanks Again!

RE: Looking for: US 442nd Infantry Regiment / US 100th Infantry Battalion
The 100th Infantry Battalion was supposed to be attached to the 34th Infantry Division at Anzio but in the game it seems to be called the 100th Infantry Regiment. The 100th Infantry Battalion did not arrive in Italy until about 29 September which is after the time period covered in the game for the Salerno landings. the 100th fought at Monte Cassino for most of the time period covered in Anzio.

Part of the "problem" is that this unit was a single piece our of many at the scale that these games play.
