Campaign Series Vietnam: BETA Testing

Hmmm... there are a couple new things in the screenshot.

Any guesses?

Nice looking toolbar you got there. Nice and cleaned up. I am assuming you will port this to mideast eventually?

Bridges over the minor rivers look smaller in length. Also looks like more buildings in village hexes and buildings in suburbs have been cleaned up, very clear. Smile

RE: Campaign Series Vietnam: BETA testing
Obviously it is in BETA and will probably be revised with playtesting, but yes, that toolbar will be ported to CSME and all future games.

Campaign Series Vietnam: BETA Testing

Here is another one of those new features to make your lives easier when playing. If you are trying to cross one of the new full hex waterways, as shown in the 3D screenshot, if you have a boat with enough action points available, you can cross from one side to the other by merely expending action points. No need to load into the boat and unload from the boat.

RE: Campaign Series Vietnam: BETA testing
I noticed the river running through the hex not following the hex line. That's new to CS, I think.

Yes, that is new...ish.

The offering was included with CSME, but it has since been improved significantly upon for CSVN.

RE: Campaign Series Vietnam: BETA testing
Not owning CSME I was unaware. I noticed the river runs through rice patties. I'm assuming its not possible to show the separation of river from patty.
