Break Isolation with Partisan unit

Break Isolation with Partisan unit
A quick question for Serbia'14 that I'm not sure how to answer:

[Blue InfBaon]
[Red InfBaon] [Chetnik Partisans]
[Blue InfBaon]

The Red InfBaon is Isolated because Partisans do not have a ZOC.

But is it possible to move the Red InfBaon onto the Chetniks and break the Isolation that way?

RE: Break Isolation with Partisan unit
The Red InfBaon should not be Isolated in this situation.

Though certain unit types don't exert a ZOC, they're valid for a supply trace through the hex.

Friendly units should be able to move into the friendly non-ZOC exerting unit normally spending ZOC-to-ZOC movement points.

I've tested this in Serbia '14 (Chetniks and HQ's) and France '40 (with towed AT, towed heavy AA and HQ's).

RE: Break Isolation with Partisan unit
Beginning of my (Austrian, first side) turn the Red InfBaon was Isolated.

In the last enemy turn the Partisans were in the same hex as the InfBaon so there was no supply trace possible through my ZOC. As it is still Isolated in my turn I assume the status of the red InfBaon is calculated at the beginning of the next enemy turn? Removing the Isolated status?

RE: Break Isolation with Partisan unit
At the start of the Red turn where the units from the Red side in your example are in the situation you depicted, isolation of the Red infantry battalion will be lifted.

Enemy supply checks are never made during your turn.
