Mowgli's Modern Campaigns Graphics
[Image: 2020-05-18_04h37_21.png]This is a mod for the European Cold War titles (Fulda Gap, North German Plain, Danube Front). It changes terrain, UI/symbols, unit counters and unit graphics. As this is quite a big effort, it is still a work in progress. I've started with the graphics for the more common factions (Russia, US, West-Germany).

I always add new graphics to my dropbox and I will allow myself to post an update here in this thread every now and then when a few new graphics have accumulated.

NOTE: The basis for the terrain and the UI/symbols is Jison's excellent map mod. But I've done quite a few adaptions, concerning colors, terrain (note the color of the roads, the different graphics for built-up areas) and symbols.

The unit graphics themselves have a slight "pixelart" look to them. They're supposed to be very coherent/unitary and clear (e.g. all sp. artillery units have their muzzle pointing slightly upwards and have their calibre written next to them).

PS. I've posted this mod somewhere before, but I can't find it anymore! Is there some way to display my own posts in this forum? I often get lost...

Appreciate your work, using your mods in both my modern campaign games, thanks.

Any other titles in the campaign series this map mod available for, or just the modern titles.

Glad you like it! :)

For the other Panzer Campaigns titles, you can use Jison's map mod (http://www.mapmod.se/). The terrain of this mod right here is also based on Jison's mod (as mentioned with some changes to make it look more "modern").

If you're asking about the unit graphics, then no. I still got plenty to do for Modern Campaigns. Haven't even finished the major factions yet.

It is always great to see other people's art mods.

Can't wait to see your finished products.

Thanks for sharing!

The terrain height colours look great - much clearer, I think. But do you have a version without the jison-type hexes? I don't like them. Thanks.

Here is a completely bland version if you prefer that (see the attachment, just put it into the map folder, overwrite the old file)?

One could probably spice it up with some shadows with a proper brush. But to be honest I'm very happy with Jison's style hexes. [Image: 2020-05-20_20h59_18.png]
