Maybe it wasn't recognized by all but to be up to date TOAWIV needs a re-installation.

Latest Installer(4.1.0.20):
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4564492

Latest patch(4.1.0.21):
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4568123

HOW TO INSTALL
1) Uninstall your current copy of TOAWIV. Easiest is to use the Uninstall shortcut from the game's Start Menu folder on Windows. Alternatively you can go to "Add/Remove Programs" in Windows and select TOAWIV.
Uninstall will not remove the player-made scenarios you have downloaded. They will be still available when you are done with the installation. Same applies to your saved games.
2) Download the 4.1.0.20 installer from The Members Area. You need to have registered the game there for it to appear.
3) Run the installer, follow the instructions. Enter the serial number you have received when purchasing the game, when prompted.
4) Download the 4.1.0.21 installer from The Members Area. You need to have registered the game there for it to appear.
5) Run the patch, follow the instructions. Enter the serial number you have received when purchasing the game, when prompted.
6) Enjoy the game!

Lastly there is still a problem even with the latest version(4.1.0.21) of the game regarding specific scenario graphics.
For them to work do the following:
Move all the files from the Graphics Override folder in the game folder(below shows the default path, YOU have to check if you used this path or installed the game somewhere else):
C:\Matrix Games\The Operational Art of War IV\Graphics Override

To:
C:\Users\<YOUR-USER-NAME-ON-YOUR-SYSTEM>\Documents\My Games\The Operational Art of War IV\Graphics Override

As of version 4.1.0.21 the game does not read the files in the Graphics Override folder in the game folder for some reason and so you might end up with scenarios not showing the way as it was intended because the scenario specific graphics are not used.

PS Would be good if this is made sticky.
