Petri:

This is the one we helped test correct?
The one with all those units...oh my goodness...a monster indeed.
But a lot of fun to play.

Regards,

Dan

Yes, the very same! And we played it twice!!  Whip

Edit: to be precise: we play tested the PBEM version I prepared from the previous version Alan did, and even more specifically the version with German player vs AI. Alan's versions were meant to be played vs AI, as the opposition forces are Fixed in place for most part.

I have fond memories of Earlmann's Kursk scenarios so I'm interested in this one.

Updated to say that I have just finished reading the .pdfs.  Kudos to Alan on creating this scenario.

By the nature of the game in both terms of the scale, number of turns, and most Russian forces fixed for the first quarter of the game I doubt many would want to play PBEM but I'm willing to play this as the Russians and hold on until forces get released.

If your courageous enough to go at it I will take the germans Cole. I've a few monsters under my belt.

Thanks Zap.  I'm up for it as the Russians and will await the turn.

As they started to pile in, there wasn't much the Germans could do to stop them. I made some notes about it, and have it on my to-do list. I'll likely not alter it anymore though.

Keep us posted as how your PBEM goes, and good luck! It is serious fun, so many tanks.

My first impression was the Russians could go on the offensive immediately and hurt the Germans without waiting for them to exhaust themselves so its a good thing most Russian units are fixed, allowing the Germans initiative.

This may not be the most enjoyable scenario to play but the research, time and effort put into it make it a must to play.

Can't wait.

Is the H2H version posted in the blitz database?

Yes, here it is:

>> SCENARIO PAGE <<

It's based on the previous version however (Prokhorovka The Ultimate Battle). This one from Alan is redone completely.

I would like to play as Russians.
We got to play as Germans but our testing was ended before we could really play as Russians.
Anyone up for a team game or a 1 versus 1?
email me or pm me.

Regards,

Dan

I've taken the Germans in a battle with Cole, Being historical this battle (at least from the comments of players) this is going to be heavily in favor of the Russians. I hope at least it will be enjoyable going down in this one.

It is a meat grinder for the Germans.
You have to take a beating for sure.

Get Totenkopf out of harms way and have it make a shield wall with the two German Divs asap, perhaps.
