RE: PzC Scenario Feedback (Various Titles)
Smolensk'41/ Monastyr_orig

A tiny scenario. A bit like a meeting engagement between two mobile forces, with the Soviets holding the objective at the beginning. Played it two times (with changing roles) against larsonney. Both of us managed to pull off a minor victory as the Germans. I think it might be very hard but not totally impossible to win this with the Soviets. The Germans simply have so many units so that the Soviet forces can either stand and defend the objectives (in which case they run the risk of getting encircled and captured) or they give way (thereby giving up the objectives).

This scenario cannot be recommended for H2H play. Unless the german player is totally incompetent, the Germans have a very easy time to win this. The soviet player can do nothing but retreat or recover fatigue. Even then, he will lose this one.
(Played it two times vs. larsonney with changed roles, both times the germans achieved an easy major victory)

Wholeheartedly agree! I think scenario time frame would have to be severely shortened to give the Russians a chance.
