Panzer Battles Kursk
How is the Panzer Battles Kursk game?  I notice most of the posts are about Normandy.  Does Kursk have a lot of small scenarios?

And for comparison, Normandy;

Ugh - you make my life tough David!

I have budget for only one of these games in the coming period and you show us so much goodness, it is very hard to choose.

I prefer the Eastern Front more than the Western Front - but is seems like Normandy has quite a few more scenarios than Kursk.

Are there any current plans to release a scenario pack for Kursk that would even out the numbers in the near future?

Or is that list likely to remain static for a while?

Very easy!
Ask for the history! Smile

Kursk is a slaughter! (that's why I have not bought me Kursk!)

Normandy is more movement!

LOL - yes, I've been taking that into consideration.

Our friends over at JTS however are pitching that with Kursk Southern Front, there are some good, smaller battles that are maneuver oriented (in addition to the mass Panzer rush into the mine fields)

So - still a hard choice.

Don, if you ignore the campaign related scenarios in Normandy, which are mostly variations of the same base battles, then the regular scenarios are fairly similar in count.

Ah ... that seals it Ricky - thanks.

I did not know that fact about the Normandy scenarios.

It also seems like there's at least one gentleman developing more scenarios in 1941 for Kursk.

So - Kursk first  -  then onto Normandy for me ....

I have both and I am a Ost Front junkie, but Normandy is a first buy win and then Kursk. I think the next PB involving Russia should be better with movement and not battering good German armor into prepared defensive lines.  Upset

Any game set in the desert 1941-1942 would be instant buy for me

Right - I was a bit surprised that JTS did not  go with a corresponding Kharkov 43 focus for Panzer Battles.

Much more fluid battles and Germans still get some good advanced equipment to play with ....

Oh well ... perhaps it's next in line ....
