I do prefer games with all black sideways counters rather than colour....though with this game I've modded it so I have faces and top down vehicles and kept guns and mortar sideways. My HQ's all have a face now rather than a vehicle like some of them did though.

Good work mate. How about doing a sideways rifle for the inf, smg for smg troops, maybe a mine detector or something for engineers, black sideways MG for MG troops, black skis for ski troops (when they arrive) maybe add a little helmet in the corner aswell nation specific make sure airborne troops have the airborne helmet again sideways and all black. That way the all black look would look complete and I'd make all the HQ faces black and white aswell? I'd prob then use that as may alternative counters for when I fancy a change.

I'd actually like to see a true PanzerBlitz mod where the armor are silhouettes (black or colored) and the infantry and guns are NATO. Perhaps make the guns the symbols in PB too.

The tabs, for me, really changed the look for Squad Battles. Nice to see they'd have some application here as well....

Still picking away on it. I like basic counters and did a custom turn boxes too. Still need to finish infantry & soviet counters.
