Opponent Wanted  Bootcamp Fodder
Gents,

Looking for a game to get out of bootcamp and into the active army. Although I've played numerous games against the AI this will be my first SB PBEM game.

I'm looking to start with a couple of smaller scenarios and moving up to larger engagement in future games. Not sure what the standard option rule use is for the ladder, so suggestions would be welcome.

Willing to play from any of the games I own:
First World War
Eagles Strike
Pacific War
Vietnam
Falklands

Thanks.

RE: Bootcamp Fodder
I think it would be safe to say that most guys play with the following optional rules.
  • Vehicle Fire Over
  • Quality Loss Modifier

Welcome Sir!

As a fairly new player, I can assure you that you will find many good opponents and have wonderful experiences here at the Blitz in the Squad Battles genre. And allow me to be one!

PBEM is vastly better than against the AI (although I still enjoy the occasional AI game)

I am delighted to offer you a game of either Eagles Strike or Vietnam. Please contact me at:

Again, welcome, and do not hesitate to ask questions here in the forum and while we are playing!

Steve

File sent. I've enabled the optional rules suggested by Compass Rose.

Looking forward to the game.

Bison,

Make sure that you also select Fog of War as that is a "given" in PBEM games.

I'm am very confident that after you start playing some PBEM games you will be hooked like the rest of us and you will prefer to play only play PBEM games. That is when you will see these type of games really shine and become even more enjoyable.

Good Luck!Smile

Thanks Compass. I'm sure my learning curve will be quite steep, but looking forward to the challenge.
