News  New scenario for EF/FB
Hey Lapland/Forgotten Battle folk!! I just converted my Oreovo scenario for WF, into East Front for the Forgotten Battles Mod! All files to play are included, which are some 2D graphic files for viewing the 18 level hills, and new partisan icons, you may safely overwrite the orignals of both, since the 2D only went to 12, and the partisan/yugo icons are trash anyhow!

If you aren't familiar with the scenario, it involves a battle in the Baba mountains, in Macedonia, between Bulgarians and partisans. The battle starts at dusk, and enters night. Speed is of the essence as the Bulgarians, the partisnas must fight a withdraw, and hold when they can. I've played this in H2H testing probably at least 10-15 times, and still don't tire of it!!

Many thanks to Majog and David Galster, as I finally settled on the rendition they proposed, slightly altered, from my original design!!

23 November, 1942
[Oreovo, Macedonia, 5Km South of Bitola] : [H2H/AXIS][HISB][BB]
:This scenario depicts the final battle of the Pelister Detachment.
It was formed in April 1942 in Lavci, Macedonia, and had fought
several battles against the Bulgarian Army, and Police. This
day however, they will fight the final battle for survival against
a vastly numerically superior force. In reality, the detachment
lost 2/3rds of its fighting force. The resistance movement in
the occupied lands was a constant strain on the Germans and Bulgarians,
many actions were taken against the invaders, and resistance
groups popped up all over. This is the story of just one of them.
Not much is recorded of this event, so it is in fact an historically-based
fictional scenario. [ALL Except VV] [NIGHT/DUSK][Version 1.7]

hope you guys enjoy it as much as I have!!

The file is in the EF database, under Demise of Detachment Pelister.

Alternately for now, HERE-

RE: New scenario for EF/FB
Got it lol

Demise of Detachment Pelister:

Took the liberty to package it as a EFFB Sub Mod, so it can be enabled and disabled via JSGME for those not willing to overwrite terrain files (not that it would do any harm as Mike pointed out).

Here it is: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8276...Add-on.zip

Unzip the package, and drop it to .../East Front/MODS folder, where all the other EFFB mod folders are too. Then open JSGME, you know the trick by now.

Looks good, Mike!
