Cold War Updates thread

Hey Cold War fans!!

This thread will be where any updates for Stefans Cold War game should be made available as they come out.

Cold War Patch 1.0-This is the first official one I have done, Stefan has had some others, and I think there may be some menu ones and a few others elsewhere. This has the English exe's, menus, and controls, as well a new version of my Assault on the Albert scenario. Also are the translated Belgium country and infoboxes.

NOTE: please take the original 5 exe's, Cold War.exe, CW.exe, CWorg.exe, CWedit.exe, and CWmap.exe, and back them up, then remove them altogether from the game. Then unzip this patch into the game. To play, double-click on the new !!Cold War.exe now located in the beginning of your files in Windows Explorer. Any problems, just shout!

A problem for me is not knowing what all the equipment is and the F2 screen doesn't help me.

Will work on that! Am currently working on the oob's, but it takes a tremendous amount of time to change all to English!! Have Belgium done, and currently almost done the GDR platoon files. Does anyone have a problem with the two Germanys retaining the formations in German? Maybe I can add a footnote to each to tell it's English equivalant?

Well, we didn´t finish the unit file with informations - and it´s in german.:upset

If you not know about the equipment please feel free to ask me. I will do my best to answer your open questions!

Ok, but i fear for successful using the different units you will not come around to learn a little bit about the modern equipment.

I have translated my older german descriptions in english and post them into a new thread. Hope it helps.

I tried downloading the patch, but my web browser (Chrome) insists it is malicious malware and is blocking it. Is there an alternate way to get the file? thank you
