new France '14 art pack! (Jison compatible)
Hello everyone,

Announcing a new France '14 art pack that is now available: "France '14, Jison compatible" art pack at vmods.com. This pack is a collaboration which merges the old style of color plate type illustrations with Jison's "unit cards". All the unit images were reworked from scratch and the result is quite pleasant to look at since the unit graphics can be much larger and detailed.

Note that you must install Jison's France '14 "unit cards" pack, the complete installation, before installing this or else you will have incomplete and mismatched unit graphics.

ENJOY! :whis:

Jison unit images are good to but i prefer Volcanoman mods because are more "human" Jison use same face in all units (i understand why) but maybe some beards, moustaches... or even a pipe, cigar, vodka bottle... or both Drink Smoke :whis: improve the mod.

I got the idea of making my mod this way when I was visiting a museum in my old home town - standing in front of a row of military figures dressed in old swedish uniforms. They where arranged in such a way that it became clear it was the uniforms that where on display, not the figures themselfes. I liked this and making my mod in a similair fashion allowed me to display all these historical uniforms equally and to their maximal effect, just as they did at that museum back home.

I realize fully that this little story aren't going to make you like the mod more, but it will perhaps make you agree with me that neither pipes, cigars or vodka bottles would work very well with that 'museum-concept' I started out with! Big Grin

Good to see you posting here again btw! Wink
