Off Topic  Califrornia Seasons of Weather
Hello All,

a little off-topic humor..

Having grown up in southern California (NW Los Angeles Area AKA: San Fernando Valley), I've had the opportunity to live in other states from desert to snow country.. seems like when the topic of 'seasons' would come up, those having never visited So Cal before invariably would comment how there were no seasons there.. refering of course to the SPRING/SUMMER/FALL/WINTER cycle of a year, and different weather conditions it brings..

While I do agree that So Cal does not traverese the extremes similar to the rest of the nation.. there are 4 distinct seasons there..

Drought, Fire, Flood, BBQ (As in Hotter than :censored: )

Big Grin

RE: Califrornia Seasons of Weather
I'm from Buffalo, NY. The weather there is perfect in the summer, both days of it. As for the winter, unless you are a hearty soul don't venture there. I have to admit the winters don't seem as cold and snowy as when I was young, but they are still tough. A few years ago I was witness to 86inches of snow falling in 48 hours. The roads were clear within 24 hours after that, but just shoveling, excuse me I don't shovel(I own 6 snow blowers), snowblowing 8ft of snow was quite a task. But on the bright side we rarely get shaken, flooded, burned, rioted, or over heated. I like the cold so it works for me.

Enjoy the game
