Request for Information - 2nd Panzer - 33rd Rifle

If anyone has useful information on the 2nd Panzer's role in the Polish Campaign or the Red Army 33rd Rifle Division at Stalingrad I would appreciate it.

So far my research has revealed that the 2nd Panzer pushed to Cracow with the 4th Light Division and I have a rough route they took. I don't think they were involved in any major battle but I could be wrong. So far any scenarios I design will be mostly fictional.

Same with the 33rd. I found an army level war diary that places them in what I think are various towns around Stalingrad in early September but nothing else. I also have been looking on the excellent RKKAWW2 web site but it seems most of the maps are corps level and above.

Any info that well let me place them on specific piece of real estate at a specific date would be great and info on their opponents OOB for whatever engagement would be excellent. In fact any info at this level for throughout the war for these two formations would be much appreciated.

von Niemack used to have a site that gave German division OOBs thru different years of the war including panzer types and numbers per regiment etc. Not sure if that it is still a working site or not....I don't have the website but perhaps someone knows the link. It may even be somewhere on the blitz site.

The 33rd GRD was part of the 2nd GA near Stalingrad and took part in Operation Little Saturn and battles along the Mius River Line. That's the only 33rd Division in the Stalingrad region as far as I can tell. Hope that points you in the right direction.

I'll check my German OB documents... I probably have Line and Blocks for the 2nd Panzer at different points in the war... I'll also check my Russian OB documents... though they are a little less detailed than the German stuff...
