Website issues
Hey Guys
While I am enjoying the new site I recently experienced some issues.....
All of a sudden I was able to login but could not do anything eg. could not post a message, I kept getting error messages saying I was l not logged in even though I was. This problem seems to have solved itself by making sure I logout first then login again
I recently tried to upload one of my scenarios to the data base. After filling out the from I got a " you have entered invalid parameters " message. I tried this twice and it would not work
While I am not the most computer savvy, I would appreciate help
Thanks in advance
Cam

RE: Website issues
Hi Cam,

Put up a post in the "Bug Reports" thread at the top of the main forum area so Raz can see it.

Thanks,
Dave

RE: Website issues
Thanks
It even took me a few attempts even to respond to this post. I had to login numerous times !
The funny thing is that everything worked fine until a few days ago
I do not think it is my operating system
Thanks again

RE: Website issues
Remember there are two log in's, one for the forum and one for rest of the site. ;)

RE: Website issues
Actually there is still only one log in now that Raz made that change? :chin:

I have not logged out recently but, I also see only one area for me to do so.

cheers

Gents:

The "invalid parameters" error message was also being encountered when folks tried to submit a H2H report... It happened to me 4 times in a row (lost all my data entries each time! ) until I was able to finally send the report on the fifth try... Hopefully this "one login step" will correct that problem? :chin:

RE: Website issues
Hmmm. Raz said he fixed the 2 login issue. Odd that the invalid parameters actually goes through on a subsequent try. I would think all or nothing.

Here's Microsoft's explanation: "You specified a parameter that is not valid for this command".

Don't you love it?

RE: Website issues
Hey Gamers
Good that I can login now
Just tried to file a H2H report, twice. Both times " invalid parameters ".
I do not understand why this is suddenly happening. Filed a H2H report a few weeks ago with no issues
?

RE: Website issues
Cam,

Just to get the record straight and see what is happening;

1)Are you logged in when you go to the H2H area?
2)Are you making a report on a scenario that you are signed up for?

I think we need to look at this step by step to solve the riddle?

cheers
