Novorissik Battle/Operation?

Been on the side lines, is there such a scenario out there?

There was one a few years back but it abruptly disappeared (after I had lost it to PC hell). It used "Black Sea, Black Death", People's Wargames, board game as a major source/model.

Appreciate any info.

C'mon, is this scenario/campaign in the Matrix version?

Or elsewhere?

Have you tried looking through the scenario database here at the blitz?

I believe there are a couple/few scenarios that deal with the operation already produced.

RE: Novorissik Battle/Operation?

The Operation, 4 FEB - 15 FEB 1943, took place along the north eastern coast of the Black Sea at the city of Novorossik (spelling?)

I did not find scenario dates on the CS scenario list?

Someone had made this Operation for CS years ago and it disappeared.

Maybe the TOAW is the place to find it,,,or...I might have to make it myself...:smoke::smoke:

RE: Novorissik Battle/Operation?
William,

I do remember Black Sea Black Death. It was one heck of a game. But my copy died in a basement flood years ago...bummer!

I don't ever remember a CS scenario or scenarios on this battle but that's not to say it or they weren't there.

However the battles around Novorossik are an interest of mine as there was some pretty heavy fighting for control of that city.

If we could get a good book source I would be interested in getting a couple of scenarios made with your help for folks to try out. I think something on the Brigade level would be easily done.

Your thoughts?

Thanks

A pity that scenario is gone. I remember loading it from the Depot years ago...since then the scenario was lost with my computer as well.

But yes, creating a new improved scenario is a wonderful idea. I still have Black Sea, Black Death. A Russian operational map of planned operations and a deep library but nothing that focuses on Novorissik. I'm not sure which game editor is better, the Matrix CS or the new TOAW?
We should goto private email, yes?
