Tactical Challenge #2
Tactical Challenge #2

It's based on the classic scenario called Kharkov 1942.
Soviet spring offensive has just started, and they manage to overwhelm your forces. They captured cities listed below.
Semenovka (21,22)
Petropavlovka (22,35)
Slavyansk (37,29)
Konstantinovka (38,34)
Balakleya (29,20)
Chuguyev (28,15)
Lyptsy (26,11)
You play as a German, and are ordered to counterattack Soviet forces. Only one turn! Points calculated normally upon casualties, city & flag hexes.
When you open the file you can playback Soviet moves, and then choose any password. It doesn't matter what it is, because it's only one turn you play. You may also see some reload message, and that's only because I had to prepare scenario to make it all interesting. This challenge may seem difficult at first, but I can assure you it isn't. You can gain back what was lost. When you finish your counterattack submit the file to me.

Good luck

ps ...and a few more things. A file once submitted cannot be resubmited again. Definitely no UNDO, and NO reloads.

kru-

I'd like to try, but I won't be able to make the deadline tomorrow.

If you move it out a few days, I should be in....

There still time to do it. Some of the participants say it's difficult. I say it must be to evaluate very good players. But when you look at it closely it's not. The trick is "battle timing" procedure in order to attack as many times as possible. That's the good chance to gain all the cities which were lost and gather some more points from damaging other Russian units.
I wonder why new players doesn't take part in it at all. You don't loose anything if you do. Take a shot.:kill:
