Here are some pictures that i took on my trip to Normandy last year, i never got round to posting all of them, but here they are i hope you find them interesting. ;)

This is the Longues-sur-Mer battery that was situated between Omaha and Gold beaches, shown are some of the casements with the guns still in place and the range finding bunker down on the cliff tops.

Thanks Darran. I have to get there some day. Last year I was in England. Maybe France next year :)

Sounds good Michael, although there is so much history to look at in France that deciding what to look at and what to leave out may be tricky?? :chin:
