Scenario Design Article, We need some...
I have designed various scenarios for Combat Mission over the years, and started to mess around with doing the same on HPS...so I went to the article page of the Blitz to read about scenario design for HPS Panzer Campaigns. I was surprised there were no articles. On the HPS forums I have seen several posts by Volcano Man and Glenn about scenario design, and I know others have designed good HPS scenarios. Perhaps someone or two could write up a good article for the Blitz on Panzer Campaign scenario design, all the considerations necessary for good design, would be very helpful. Trying to dig through the posts for is like panning for gold, takes a long time to find a nugget.

I wrote an article on scen design basics way back, it is on Glenn's Web Page at:

Look for Scen design by Blackie at the bottom of the page.

RE: Scenario Design Article, We need some...
One thing that killed me was the dreaded "Error reading file" or some such thing. I concluded never to make a scenario until the OOB was absolutely finished. (Which may not be what I was doing wrong) It just seemed that way. Someone will weigh in. I'm interested in any advice I can get, too.

Yes I saw your article. My question to all here is why are there no articles on the Blitz site itself?

Still does not answer his question, did you find it useful? :chin:

I agree that there should be more articles about this aspect of the game, the short answer is that nobody from the Blitz has ever sat down & written one, having said that i thought Von Schwarze's artcle was excellent!

All i can do is provide a link from the "Everything you need to know" sticky thread to that article. :chin:

I thought it was sort of common knowledge if you can't find it on the Blitz .... go to good ole Glenn's site, but a link would be good or you can put it on your site, I wanted everyone to have access to this to get people going on scen creation. Some time ago I might add.

Yes the article was fine, useful, very good, great for getting someone started.

It would be nice to see more of the old experienced PzCm players here write something up is what I am saying.

Zemke, I really don't think you know that I am Glenn's "sleeping partner". Look at the credits in all the PzC games. Between us, we have designed more scenarios than anyone else I can think of, that is why I wrote the article. BTW it looks like you have been around since 2003, why don't you write one?

Thanks Foul, I saw that and looked at the sticky, very good indeed.
