How did you decide upon your Blitz nickname?
In college I read a lot of “Wonder Wart Hog” (aka Hog of War) comics. Thought I’d put my war-gamming in perspective by choosing an off the wall personae, plus I like his nose.

Presently active on PzC, CS, and UV
What is your favourite PC War-game?
PzC
Who has been your hardest opponent?
My mind is a blank. I try to forget those games where I get slammed as soon as possible.
How long have you been a member of the Blitz?
June 2002
What War interests you the most?
I’m generally interested in all armed conflicts especially minor theatres but if I had to choose: WWII
If you could choose to be present at one historical event what would it be?
Resurrection of Christ or better yet the end of the world
What is your favourite War movie?
We Were Soldiers
What do you snack on while gaming?
Nothing; distracts from rapt concentration
What is your favourite and least favourite aspect of the Blitz website?
You can always pick up a game and chat with like-minded guys, but someone will infrequently go berserk and take things way too seriously.
Do you own any war memorabilia?
My father in law was in WW2 and brought back a “milk cross”. An iron cross for mothers. It fits that I would get this.
What is the best military book you have read?
“Chesty” (Puller) If you want to know what it means to be a marine (without physical and mental pain) this is your book. Great read.
What do you think was the single most important event of WWII?
The attack at Pearl Harbour. Nothing galvanises a country more than revenge for an unprovoked attack. Isolationism was a non-event after Pearl and once we were 100% in, the war was all a matter of time.
What is the most interesting documentary you have ever watched?
My son and I really like “Dogfights”, but “Decisive Battles” is a close second.
Which is your favourite HPS PzC title?
B44
Are there any war games catching your eye at present?
Nothing in particular but I’d like to see a PzC scale, ground focused game go Pacific WWII.
What piece of wisdom would you like to pass on to your fellow Blitz members?
All things said there is a positive psychological benefit to winning: every once in a while find somebody you can beat (that’s why we have noobs right?), it will help your stamina.
