Problem video cards
After an extended absence I'm heading towards getting back into CM again. I'm also looking at getting a new rig. I have seen in the past that there are a number of issues with nvidia cards but ara all of them a head ache for CM? Or what about the intel 950 graphic stuff, or recommendations would help too I suppose. I just don't want to throw a bunch of bucks on a tower and can't play my favorite games

Morning Roger,

Nice to hear from you again.

If you have the last file from our last battle semd it over and we can restart, OR you can pick another.

The choice is yours my good friend !

RE: Problem video cards
I've never had a problem with nVidia cards....it's ATI that used to have problems (ie couldn't do) fog.

My present card is an nVidia 7800GT card made by MSI....works fine, no problems, easy fast enough for CM and should still be a good budget graphics card, depending on whether your new system is budget or something cutting edge. The 7800GT was cutting edge less than 2 yrs ago.

RE: Problem video cards
Thanks for the replies guys, I knew there was a problem with some cards but it looks like I was mistaken.
