DG Korean War looking for opponent/tester
I made a scenario for Mike's excellent DG Korean War mod. Now I'm looking for someone to help me test this SM 10 scenario.
The Battle of Hoengsong
On the evening of 11th february 1951,
the Chinese launched a massive attack towards the town of Hoengsong from several directions.
Moving below Hongch'on astride Route
29, the 198th Division, 66th Army, hit the front of the ROK 21st
Regiment about 2030, then sent forces around the regiment's flanks,
mainly on the west through the gap between the 21st and the ROK
10th Regiment. While the 198th swung behind the 21st, the 120th
Division, 40th Army, penetrated the line of the 10th Regiment.
Within a few hours it became apparent that large parts of the
ROK 8th Division were at risk of total collapse as communications
between the regiments and headquarters broke down. Due to the
disintegration of the ROK troops, the Americans had no
other choice but to retreat towards Wonju. Unfortunately Support
Force 21, could not wretch itself from the destruction of the
8th ROK and suffered horrendous casualties in the ensuing fights.
