Release Date and Price
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Guys
This has been one of those releases that bites me everytime I turn around but I am loving it anyway. First I want to thank Wyatt Kappely, Jason Petho, and George Smithson of the Campaign Series Legion team for all of there hard work.
Getting everything into place, testing and making it work with Vista was no small job.
The game should be available sometime late tonight early tomorrow. The price will be $34.99 for a digital download and $44.99 Game On Demand Box version.
The box version will come with a printed manual as well.
Now I normally do not post ahead of a release but since this has been so delayed we wanted to make an exception.
David
RE: Matrixgames Release Imminent
There is an EF II Campaign that has been running for quite some time now.............started on day of July 5,1943 and is currently on day of July 9,1943............it holds the record for longest game played......at least if it doesn't it should.......there is also a WF campaign that is about to enter day 3..............my only concern is can we keep these going?..........do all the players have to upgrade?.............I would hate to lose these games..........and I suspect the players would not be too happy either............darn I hate to roll the dice at times :-)
Maybe I am being too paranoid :-)
Theoretically, as long as they are old scenarios not using any of the new units, and using maps and oobs generated in the original engines, there shouldn't be a problem with compatibility.
Theoretically, being the key word.
Hope that helps
