Cecil Brown, Athens Greece.


May 20, 1942. The German Army following four months of heavy fighting near the town of Karkov, won a minor victory as elements of the 1st Panzer Army (Al woods), won a minor victory against elements of the Soviets Southwestern Front, (Dave MIler.

May 18, 1942. The German Army following four months of heavy fighting near the town of Karkov, Were held up as they advanced towards the town of Izyum and both sides faught to a draw. The axis Forces commanded by (Tom Nelson) faught hard but were unable to push the Soviets (Steve Arbagast) out of the town.

However, there was one bright spot near the town of Gembloux, Where Allied forces (Rick Bancroft and Brian Bedford) decisively defeated Two Panzer Divisions (Gary Cobleigh)."

"News filtered to us from the Kremlin indicate that although Soviet Forces were pushed back near Smolensk, they did manage to hold there own for a time. And in one instance Axis Forces led ( Marty "Von Nev") were held to a draw by the Soviet forces (Jeff Connor).
