RE: Domination!
Thanks for the good PR, Randy!

It's been a lot of work getting that map done and figuring out a simple rules system that'll be fun to play.

Let's hope it works as intended!

RE: Domination!
The first 2 battles are getting underway. The Allies are attacking in North Africa while Operation SeaLion has been launched.

Will Tobruk get relieved?

Will the Nazi beachhead on the SE coast of England hold?

RE: Domination!
Two little nit picks about the rules.

1: partisan attacks: Surely partisan attacks should only be able to be launched in hexes that started the game as allied hexes. As the rules stand you could launch a partisan attack in East/West Germany on the first turn.

2: 10% bonus for allied troops in beach head battles. Surely this should depend on the date. Allied air supremacy wasnt a reality till later in the war. The Luftwaffe could have lent considerable support to Operation Sealion. Obviously Allied Navel dominance is a reality from day 1.

Perhaps Axis players should be given a big bonus for a few years in defense of French/Italian beach heads so that liberations of these area occurs on a similar time-line to that of WW2 itself.

How does one sign up? I have been mega ultra busy recently but have just about cleared the decks and something like this looks fun.

Partisan attacks are only available in Conquered Russian territories... maybe haven't spelled that out too carefully -- partly because the rules have migrated from the Domination Ostfront game.

Valid point -- IF we had a feasible, simple way of tracking time that wouldn't be the biggest admin headache imaginable... the whole thing is a big, FUN abstraction of a big European War with participation and gameplay the main focus... time period is set to give most options of simultaneous gameplay on all fronts with options for BOTH sides to act offensively.... first half of war is a long Allied losing streak and then it's a long Axis losing streak... not much fun for either side ;)

Another consideration is that once it's up and running properly, it'll pretty much run itself without too much heavy-handed input by tourney organisers... who'll move on to new and exciting projects

See above.

Head over to FGM -- join up and sign up!

RE: Domination!
It must be said that 2 previous editions of Domination (by RICO) were very successful I think that Domination Europe will be even better :)
