			| WinSPWW2.1. HELP NEEDED -
Have any one had this situation before:I'm playing against Epoletov inCzerpak's WinSPWW2: Great Hunting - tournament.

When we reached turn 5 the game suddenly wouldn't accept my password. I tried 2 times to reload a previous turn (which I could load very fine) but as soon I got it back from Epoletov- the same happened.

Then we restarted the game totally from scratch, and have now reached turn 6, when the same happens again.:hissy:

Do anyone know what in H... is going on, and have anyone an idea to a solution?

Is one of you using .RAR? Rar is fast and produces a smaller file, but it's not as accurate as .zip Most of the time it doesn'r matter, but with files like SP uses that are both compressed and encrypted it can.

Did one of you use gliders? If so, see this thread:http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/threads...Post472272
Unfortunately there is an error in the glider routines which causes it to overwrite the passwords. It will be fixed in the next patch but in the mean time the only solutions is to either abstain from using gliders in password PBEM games or to not use passwords for the game (ie unsecure play).

Heureka !!

It must be that - the thing happens just after the glider has landed.
Thanks Narwan

HiGliders are always destroyed at landing. This gives points to the opponent in a normal PBEM which is why I never use them.
In the Great Hunting Tourney the destruction of the gliders will not make a difference to the end result.
 Cheers

If have not taken gliders then fight in Tournament "Great Hunting" has been finished without failure.
It is the answer why at others all is good.

					wholy shit !!!
I am deeply sorry, guys !!!
I didnt know that, and I really should.
I will send an email to all players and ask them not to use gliders.
 Remco, thanks for advise.
Stonefire and Epoletov will get extra time for their game if needed.
