			| Windows Vista issues with MBT and WW2
					Hey all
Just a quick note to state a few things so far with my Vista experience.

As for which games are working well and which are not.

 SPWAW Dos works just fine.

SPWW2 and SPMBT for windows has some serious issues which I am hoping is just due to the beta graphics driver I am using. It is almost unplayable and tweaking the settings makes no noticable difference. I have 2 more GB sticks coming next week so I hope this will help and I am going to try using the non beta driver and se if that helps also.

Who else is using Vista with the windows versions of thee games?

I'm not sure if it matters, but I can't play WinSPMBT and I have tried all I can think of + hints from the Shrapnel forum. The error message I receive is:
 error signature:

 AppName: winspmbt.exe AppVer: 1.0.3.5 ModName: winvfx8.dll
 ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000089b4

And more to your question, I don't have Vista but I have MediaCenter and a label that says, Windows Vista Capable.

Gotta make a label saying winspmbt uncapable :-(

not building it myself, just a Dell
let's just say after all these years of building them myself and fighting the old DOS and Windows 3.1 then win 95 etc.. I found it's easier to buy and just turn it on and go play and when I need something, I just put it in myself and hope like hell it works without much interaction these days.. LOL

I have tried the windowed mode in different resolutions - it crashes. The only thing I am sure of about the game now is, that it works fine in any mode, if I play a scenario. PBEM - crash! ver is 2.51.
