curious--reputation rating
Can anyone give me the structure and ratings associated with Reputation, like on the email author's block, with the + and the - signs, and different colors of squares in between? Thanks...

Leto sums it up well.

It's a nice feature if used properly, but too much focus on it tends to lead to abuse.

I personally only use it give positve rep and leave a comment for contributions to the board.

If I have a negative comment it will most likely be sent off in a PM with a warning ;)

personally I like the feature. I use it sparringly, but I do use it when a post is either extremely deserving or lacking. And I think it is nice when somebody comments on a post.

I don't think you can make more than three reputation 'scores' a day, and i've seen some with as many as two red squares but that doesn't mean they are a trouble maker just that more than likely someone is abusing the scoring system. I haven't bothered using it in ages, shame when you think of all the hard work that probably went into implementing it.

cheers

RE: curious--reputation rating
You can only give one rating for any one post, precisely to stop that sort of abuse.
