Why isa it hard to get a game anymore?
After viewing the many players on the MBT ladders I am beginning to think the active ones must be a very low number or perhaps is it due to summer activities?

My post for some MBT games has netted only 1 game thus far.

Perhaps it is best to register on 2-5 different SP websites or are there some websites that have a higher traffic?

Just curious is all. Sometimes it seems that some of the more popular people post wanting a game and they have offers to no end. Or do all wargame websites perform like this?

Not a complaint in anyway just an observation is all. Used to be when you posted a want of a game people seemed to respond.

Maybe I am getting old? Probably so.

Summer is traditionally the slowest time of year across all of the ladders at The Blitz, not just SP. Most of our players are from the Northern Hemisphere and this is the time of year to be outside not in.

I'd give you an MBT game Gary, but alas, my schedule is too hectic these days. I myself started my first SP game in what must be 10 months recently.

Howdy Gary

Well in the good ol southern hemisphere its cold and rainy and snowy, so time is inside is great.

I know we already have one game going and another about to start with our team game, but if you are up for another drop me a line.

I am big on MBT at the moment even though i seem to be having my head handed to me in most of them.:hissy:

I'll try a battle of MBT with you if you still have a slot open.

Hey Gen SP,

Do you want to kick my Arse at MBT, I can give you a game. I'm not very good at it but I try.

Let me know.

Hiya Jad

Depending on how many games you can play at once i am keen for a game against you, only if your keen. Like i have said i am addicted to MBT.

I have to confess that i have 4 installs of MBT. I feel so ashamed. Haha..:kill:

let me know.

RE: Why isa it hard to get a game anymore?
Gary; If you have noticed it seems that the message boards are only viewed by the same people every day. I am not sure why but I receive lots of completed game notifications but I never see the players posting on the MB. I think that if the dozen or so regular MB posters disappeared the board would grow cob webs.

I only found replacements for the Sicily tournament by actually emailing people asking if they wanted to play, no one ever replied to my posts until late.
