Relating to something i was just reading in a thread about
how things have dried up on this forum...i noticed something interesting,
the mention that this game is 4 years old to most of the "Old Guard"...
and topics have been talked to death...well maybe we should try some
new topics...i've had this game 3 years,just started PBEM 8 or 9 months ago...but noticed,there not a lot of talk about Axis Minor or Finn battles,
not to even mention Partisans,my favorites :)
So how about some Battles that don't use "Uber" tanks,or super squads,
go to a different kind of game,make it challanging again,working with Green and God forbid,Conscript Squads...lol
I'm just one NooB shouting in the wilderness i know...lol
but i do find those type of Battles more interesting then some large
tank smoking blast-up...but hey,that's just me...
I hope things Cool down in that balmy England,we might start losing our tourist otherwise...:cool2:

Some good points there gangofmao (cool name by the way).

I think from time to time some of the topics u mention HAVE been brought up in this forum from time to time ie. partisans, Axis minors etc. Its just that these have never generated extensive debate because they're not 'sexy' like T34s, Tigers, SS assault troopers I guess.

I agree....they should be discussed more. I've always enjoyed playing Finns, in fact one of my favourite scenarios of all time is a BB scenario called The Move Back in which elements of a Finnish ski-trooper company ambush a Russian convoy in the height of winter.

I'm playing an Operation as Russians against Finn's right now...
It's a Beast...and those Finn's are sneaky in the forest...:)
Also doing an interesting Partisan Operation...
So if any new players here are interested in a Partisan/Axis Minor
Battle...or even any of you old jaded players too...lol
