I am willing to participate if a replacement is required.

Okay, I replayed the last turn I sent to Steffen, focusing a bit more on points than long term strategy since he is unavailable. I ended up with 960 points. I assume he is out of the tourney, I will drop if needed to keep it even.

Lethal and I agreed to end the battle on turn 29. The final score was 3910.

Thank you for the battle, Lethal.

I'm quite surprised there are more Allied than Axis victories and am looking forward to hearing how the Allied players won their games.

.ComradeP (Allies) vs. Brancaleone (Axis) - Allied Major Defeat with 407 points.

We decided to stop at turn 44, as we were running out of time and the score wouldn't change much in the remaining turns.

The Allies only captured territory because the German voluntarily moved to positions in the rear. I don't see how the Allies could win this one against equally skilled players, but the Allies won in other games.

These were the German positions: a series of defensive lines spaced far apart, with gaps only in the central sector. On the right flank were the HG Division, the 4th FJ Division, and the 65th Infantry Division; in the center were the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division and the 362nd Infantry Division; and on the left flank were parts of the two divisions, plus the 715th Infantry Division and the 16th SS Panzer Grenadier Division, all at 85–90% strength; it will certainly take a great deal of effort for the allies to advance without suffering too many casualties.[Image: Buffalo1.jpg]
