Quote:At a range of 1 hex, the SA/18 should have an attack value of 4, while the SA/38 should have an attack value of 5. Currently for the H-35 and H-39 in the unit database, this is reversed. For the R-35, there is currently no difference in hard target attack factors between the standard R-35s, and the R-35s with the SA/38.

I have fixed the SA/38.

P08042 5 3 2
5 4 3 2 1

I also swapped the two H-35 and H-39 values.

What else do I need to fix?

Here's one more:

French light tanks with the SA/38 gun should actually have higher anti-armor attack factors than the standard R-35, H-35 and H-39 tanks.

The SA/38 37mm tank gun was adopted to give French light tanks more hitting power than the SA/18, which all H-35s and H-39s were armed with initially. By May 1940, many French platoon and company commanders' light tanks had the SA/38s, while the rest of the light tanks were still armed with the SA/18.

At a range of 1 hex, the SA/18 should have an attack value of 4, while the SA/38 should have an attack value of 5. Currently for the H-35 and H-39 in the unit database, this is reversed. For the R-35, there is currently no difference in hard target attack factors between the standard R-35s, and the R-35s with the SA/38.

And yes, I'm a huge CS nerd.

Herr Schwer....you need to get OUT more...lol...
I thought I was the armaments resident maniac but after that sterling dissertation...I'm handing you the crown... Whistle

ps:  Don't get me started on the PzJag V Leopard fire tables!

I did, I did.

Now is the time for any final changes.

After this, JTCS will be remastered and that's it.

Arriving very late to this party...I will apologize if the following isn't along the lines of what you're looking for.

Dawags is more expert on this one than I... but he's observed that some trucks get a Defense of 2 now (ex: German and American) whereas some are still getting the old value of 1 (English, possibly the Russians). At the time it seemed like that was where it was heading, basically making all trucks a bit more survivable with the defense of 2.
Trust me...they still die...and I think it was a good adjustment as far as it went.

Regards,

Dan

I'm sure that this has been debated over the years, but the Russian SMG and Guards SMG platoons are a bit absurd. I would propose reducing the number of these platoons from five down to something more manageable, and giving them all stronger attack values at a range of one hex.
