RE: World in Flames Redux
My wife and I just spent some time in Edinburgh (June 19-22). I love your city. We stayed at the Gleneagles Townhouse and strolled the Royal Mile.

Hello All,
Pawel and I have finished our match.
It ended in a bloody draw that came down to the final turn.
It was a well-played match.
Great fun.

Message for you sir Mister His Scudness!
(sound of arrow hitting me in the chest....zzzzz....thunk...;)
Our brave lads ran away from Alex/Schwerpunkt for 15 turns and got a major victory.
While the scenario is enjoyable, it was a bit unfair IMO.
Then again, it came down to a few rolls the last three turns and Alex got none of them.
No doubt Alex will take his revenge elsewhere...something more suitable to a tank hunter...
Regards,
Dan the meat popsicle, most definitely not a robot.

I am curious how you pulled this off as the Axis Mongols. If the Axyis Mongols just high tail it away, the Allied Mongols take 50 points of objectives and get a minor win. There must be more to the story. Inquiring minds want to know.

Hello Hawk:
I was Allies.
I took out the ON MAP Mongols who were all disrupted. Alex was moving them but if they didn't undisrupt, and most of them didn't, they got captured or killed.
Then when Alex came on towards the end with his reinforcements I just kept giving ground until the last couple of turns when I was huddled up around the objectives.
Let's just say it didn't "feel" like a Major. Alex and I have warred before, we'll do it again, and I expect a concussion awaits.
Regards,
Dan
ps: That and the battalion of Panthers that arrived, turned traitor, and fought on my side...;)

Got it. I thought you were the Axis Mongols. I had it backwards. Good play by you.
