About two years with a three month hiatus. We played 158 Turns of F'14 (Early Campaign). Very satisfying. Great opponent. No pressure, just both players honoring each other by keeping at it.

Two years, six months playing 250 turns of the S43 CG, in the end it was clear the Axis were heading for a major loss so we quit. Smile

Hmm..I have played a few campaigns. Khakov '42 less then a year. Stalingrad '42 about a year. Normandy '44 up to turn 257 was a year. That was probably the longest.

It also depends on how many people per side. One on one it may take you longer to play a turn, but two or more there is almost always at least one player who cannot get to the turn right away. But, a team game has it's own rewards.

Ive played several Minsk about a year Kursk about 4 months Stalingrad over a year Korsun about a year.I think if campaign is over 200 turns you are looking at least a year because everybody cant do a turn a day some people your lucky if you get a turn a week.

We need a addition to the Save and Save As options when you have to break/suspend the turn part way thro.
Why, because most campaign games can become a click-fest as more reinforcement and releases increase the number of units I.E. workload.
Would like to have a " Save Point " therefore when I open the campaign file I can select and continue from where I left off.

Hey Gent: Smoke7

Just curious - but why did you respond and resurrect a 6-year old thread?  Batman Confused
