In SB (specifically RV), how do you save enough movement points so a unit can "shoot & scoot?" (e.g. fire / move?) Is there a toggle button (in menu) that indicates how far a unit may move after it fires its main armament?
Still trying to learn this great game system! :)
Appreciate all replies - especially from SB vets!

Dennis is correct, there isn't a button or toggle that you can use to save movement points for firing or unloading like in some of the other Tiller game systems. You have to be able to do this in your head if you want to conduct shoot and scoot type tactics. The movement costs for different terrain types and ground conditions are in the Parameter Data under the Help menu item. Don't forget to multiple the movement cost by two if the vehicle is moving directly to the rear for reverse movement. Be careful in trying to get off more than one shot also as you may end up in plain view of all those pixels that want to hurt your pixel warriors.
I don't think that you see shoot and scoot in this game system as much as in the Campaign Series either, although the maxim you can't kill what you can't see is just as valid here.
You can shoot and scoot. Just shoot a few shots (maybe one) and make your move.
You cannot move, shoot and scoot based on the available action points for most infantry units. But you can do this with tanks.
IMO shoot and scout will not be that effective in SB. Movement points are not enough in most of the situations. I believe establishing a sound base of fire while other troops maneuvre - instead of demanding two seperate things from a unit - is a better approach.
