Boat Icons for tanks

I have boat icons coming up for t-34s in my new 4.0 upgrade of SPww2.

Also i have the names of MBT battles coming up on the scenario screen and there looks like MBT icons mixed into the main file menu.

As I have only just upgraded I have missed out on any discussion going on here, what can I do?

1)Sounds to me you upgraded with games in progress perhaps?

2)Clueless on how that would happen.

3)I haven't upgraded WW2 3.5 to 4.0 yet so would be interested on what others that have ..say

From what i'm reading,maybe this new upgrade is causing more problems than it fixes?.

I have to agree with you, few new features but plenty of problems.

I have to agree with Ron (Gila). Allthough I always like change and the new things that comes with it, I think I'll try to stick to 3.5 for as long as I can line up games with you guys on that version.

There is a 4.0 MBT upgrade out there. Could you have installed SPMBT 4.0 to your SPWW2 directory?

I checked my scenarios and they are all fine; and none of my T34s float ;)

I copiued my 3.5 folder (so i could keep running 3.5 games if I want) then ran the 4.0 install into the new folder.

What i got was that the main menu for setting up battles had flags from MBT not WW2 (ie federal germany not nazi germany) also in the scenario list some of the scenarios had names from MBT but the battle description was still the actual battle.

Then when I played a test battle a russian T-34 showed up as a barge, other units I saw were same as but also some of the souds were missing.

I think I will do the whole thing again and see what I get as I know my 3.5 was fine, as soon as I started 4.0 it was looking funny with the flags and the scenarios.
