CS Ladder Views
From the main page:
So, if you are up to the challenge of pushing your electronic soldiers across the battlefield via Play By E-Mail (PBEM) or Online wargames, come join us. We are a group of avid wargamers and wanna-be historians that have banded together to help rookies get started, connect the regulars to other opponents, and honor the hardcore wargamers.. This website is a community of common interest that centers around comraderie, history, and wargaming... A combination we LOVE!!!

2) Hawk Kriegsman
3) MrRoadrunner

From Rule #5, Ladders:
Gaming ladders are a tried and true method of tracking a gamer's progress over time. Our ladder's are intended to encourage wargaming. As such, Blitz members are rewarded for playing, whether they win, lose, or draw.

Hi Ed,

I don't care much for quantity but for quality ( no offence, just a diiferent point of view). therefor i mostly sort the ladder by ELO or W% then it shows who is understanding the game and who plays best.

regards
Remko

An excellent point RvdB.

Let's have a look at the top 10 ladder leaders. ELO then Percentage

1) Tiger 88 / 2163 & .734
2) Hawk Kriegsman / 2072 & .598
3) MrRoadrunner / 2072 & .515
4) Laza / 1942 & .535
5) Don Fox / 1945 .492
6) majog / 1921 .381
7) Jumbo / 2002 .569
8) Tank Killer / 2138 .657
9) Oberst / 2248 .826
10) Peiper / 2109 .589

Looks like quantity and quality to me. I have played all on this list except for TK and majog and they are all excellent players who understand the game.

Thanx!

Hawk

RE: CS Ladder Views
sorry Erik,

i meant that you need to SORT by ELO (click it) , and not the default which is SCR

the #1 = Umbro with ELO 2450
#2 = MorganJ 2388
....
....
.....
# 57 = Hawk Kriegsman

a high SCR (like you ) in combination with a average (like you)
or low W% is a rate of devotion to the club

which is (or should be) highly appreciated
Those are the ones who keep the club running

Remko

No need to apologize.

Quote:i meant that you need to SORT by ELO (click it) , and not the default which is SCR

Ah ok yes. Indeed that can be a useful tool provided the player with a high ELO has a representative sample of games.

Quote:the #1 = Umbro with ELO 2450

I have never played Umbro but can tell from his posts and the like that he is probably the best CS player out there.

I have played MorganJ and he is one of the best I have played here.

This guy isn't very good is he?! Big Grin :whis:

Quote:a high SCR (like you ) in combination with a average (like you)

Most of the time yes. I know for a fact that Mr. RR's stats are badly skewed as he reports almost 100% of his games with rookies and new players as a draw if he wins. I would suspect that probably 100 of his draws minimumm where wins.

This statement is spot on. Thank you.

Thanx!

A thrashing just isn't a thrashing unless it is given by Umbro.

Definitely the best.

Yes I am sure.

In fact getting the crap kicked out of me by him is on my bucket list.
:kill:

Thanx!
