The real catchphrase from the film is in the above clip. Men my age to this day instantly recognize a faux bass, "Can you diiiiiiigggg it!?!"
The funny part is, as awful as the film was and remains, it's based on a fairly deep and modestly elegant book about coming of age and tribalism. The balkanization of mid-70s NYC provides a comparable backdrop to the Aegean of Homeric Greece. It's yet another restaging of the Odyssey, only without Joyce's smirking self-indulgence or the Coen brothers' sense of humor.

No Epoletov my friend, not late at all. It would not be a Nato vs Warsaw Pact fight without some real soviet commanders.
I have slots on Wp side save for the commanders from SPR. Send them to the web site and get them to hit the sign up buton which will send a email to my email address.
