RE: Panzer Battles 2 - The Official Teaser Thread
If the images really are 12 different nationalities, Normandy and Italy are the only two areas I can think of with that many possible. Figuring them out would be interesting teaser game as well.

Well, i dont think on this for bren portrait.

Looks like the area was hunted... i think in a

"Falaise - Closing the gap" or
"Falaise - Normandy last chapter"

Lets see what are the time limits and the amount of scens.

@ Strela

What gameplay changes are in PzB2 ?
Are there new rules to make armored combat and tank vs. tank fights more plausible ?

Yes, this is a very interesting point for me... AT combat improvements... and if you plan add the PzC Fanatic nations feature.

I need say that i HATE the WWII wargames Bermude triangle... AKA Normandy-Market Garden-Ardennes but i feel atracted by PzB2 if cover the battles that look the selected for the glory Salute3

PD: release... 2015 or 2016??? i break my ouija in the last sesion Witch Broom

There are changes but nothing I want to discuss at this point.

Armoured combat has gone through a lot of discussion prior to the Kursk 1.01 patch release and we tried a number of things to tweak it. I can say that armoured combat feels different in PzB2 yet we haven't made wholesale changes to date. Don't forget we changed a number of parameters in Kursk 1.01 and they have carried over to the new title.

I think it was Richie61 (who is a play tester for PzB2) in another thread that said this new game feels completely different to Kursk. That's my experience too and all the different formations seem to work well.

I'd be happy for any play tester to speak up here (without revealing the game title or scenario!) on their experience to date. All the testers have had significant exposure to both games.

As far as release - when it's done. I'm working hard to break the back of some of the more boring tasks currently and then the release date will only come down to when we stop designing scenarios.

And why use a famous American paratrooper officer (smoking)
to represent mechanized troops ??
This is just a detail. ; )
This does not stop me from ordering this new opus ;-)

Spurred on by DaveMic's call out, we have a whole lot of new 'contestants' for the role of 'US Mech Infantry';

Nice new pics David; they look really good. The 5th image is my least favorite as he looks like a pirate with an eye patch! [Image: 66e538c804pirate14.gif]

Cool David, I am pleased ;-)
Even if the third still looks like a paratrooper. It's stronger than you ..:-)
Have you thought about the guys from the 2nd Armored ?? just for
the month of July, very quickly remove to avoid friendly fire...;)[Image: us_camo_1944.jpg]
I prefer the number 1. The rest has nothing to do in Normandy.
M43 suits too late to be used during the campaign. ;-)
