I didn't get far enough to get it into the game release but I would like to finish it. Here's the background.
In 1977 my father was 2IC of 1 RCR in London not long after they were rotated out of Germany. At that time 3 RCR was stationed in Germany. My theory is that if the balloon had gone up they would have sent 1 RCR back asap. So, assuming there was enough time...
The scenario is the Soviet attackers have pushed 3 RCR back and are chasing them further. 1 RCR has arrived and is setting up a defensive line but they need more time. So, some of their AT elements and some pioneers have been sent forward under the command of the 2IC to help the rear elements of a company of 3 RCR hold the soviet advance at a choke point.
Both elements have been fighting for days now and are not a full strength. The soviets have out paced their artillery and so don't have any *more* fire support from them. The need to by pass the town and secure the choke point so they can keep the pressure going.
The Canadians need to prevent that from happening while not loosing too many AT assets they are going to need later.
I don't have any objectives set yet nor a time limit to match so I have a little work to do.
Let me know what you think.
This sounds like a cool setup up. I'm all in!
Sorry for the delay in reply, Blitz doesn't always send me a noft of replies even though I have that optioned checked.
