Well there goes the majority of what is left of the Coastal Defense Brigade. With their companies spread out along the beaches, these units are easy pickings for the Allies. They neither have the will to fight nor the sense to run away.
HG division forces engage the Americans in many places to pressure the Allied lines. Disrupted units are highlighted in the following image.

Livorno 4th ID joins the 3rd Infantry regiment in a drive to the southern airfield. Soon to find out where the American 1st ID is concentrated. Temporary trap of 4XX 1st ID unit.  They will be rescued from isolation in the next Allied turn by the Rangers coming up from Gela.  However, they will still lose a morale level for isolation that will remain until the end of the German turn  nine.  Maybe also Low ammo will result in another morale level loss.
The Italian stack labeled  #1 will fire then move next turn.  A stronger Italian stack #2 will then move up to deal more serious damage. In Axis turn nine.  The German engineers crossed the river as a flank guard to the last retreating Axis units west of the Gela river.  They will cross the river in Axis turn nine then blow the bridges ASAP.

HG PzGr cross the Ficuzza river in hard half-tracks.  Those in travel mode are hard targets that the Allied AB will not be able to hurt.
