My intention was to try something like that, retreat toward better defensive positions and hit back when an opportunity appeared. The problem in the campaign scenario is, that there are so huge open gaps in the Polish lines, that the German mobile units can easily go around any stronger defensive positions and move freely in the open rear areas. The Polish player won´t even be able to see where they go when there are no friendly units to spot them. It would help a lot if the defender could get at least some information of the enemy units in the rear areas. I don´t know if this would be possible to implement with the PzC game engine but in real life I think the local civil authorities would inform the military if enemy troops were entering their hometown.  Wink
