We didn't do so in the Winter Operations tournament and that seems like a good solution this time around as well. 

Updating if a patch was released before the start date of a round was mandatory, but installing an update when a round was in progress was to be delayed.

All games must be completed with the patch available at the start of the round. If a new patch is issued while the Round is in progress, do not upgrade until after the round.
