Should we maybe wait for the first patch before the tournament ?

No, the tournament is ready to go.  The first patch could easily take months.  Why wait? 
If the first patch comes out during the tournament, we will upgrade everyone at that time. It may not affect he round being played, but it will affect the next round.
The changes proposed for the first patch will not have any major impact on the scenarios being selected.
