Then I get " Invalid Format "
Try to close " Invalid Format " several times and can make a scn file
Header dialogue then erases itself and back to " Invalid Format "

Likely you are entering Turns & Visibility in the older, obsoleted format. You need to enter them in the new format, as described in Coder Diary #14 -- Dynamic Day/Night & Visibility .

This is also documented in the Campaign Series Manual, on p. 91 I believe.

In future updates, we will endeavor to give more complete, clearer error notices.
