Scenario editor problem

Sigh..... terribly sorry about this. It appears I have another issue.
Here I Go Again - Whitesnake Tune
I have v2.02 freshly installed with forgotten battles.
I tried to make a scenario for WF. Went about it as per normal, made map and org files ( no issue )
I'll try to explain everything as best I can
Here is what happened
Edit scenario
Main scenario screen comes up, close it
Map screen comes up, close it
Org screen comes up close it
Then go to file " new "
Map and org files come up for the scenario
Header dialogue comes up, fill it out.
Hit OK
Then I get " Invalid Format "
Try to close " Invalid Format " several times and can make a scn file
Header dialogue then erases itself and back to " Invalid Format "
I played around with it for about a half hour, pumped up on morning coffee, and still got the same result
