Maybe a failsafe is missing here, ladder could check for ID & username just to make sure someone doesn't get multiple entries.
I think Compass Rose mentioned that this is now Version 3 of the Blitz?
Maybe something got lost along the way and so the ladder can't make connections anymore on very old entries.
