The history of the Eastern Front in WWI and also Foul's article about how important intelligence gathering was (although saying the Germans stalled on the Marne due to intercepted messages is too much credit), makes me wonder how well a Tannenberg title would work. I've commented on that before.

One of the things the PzC and FWWC series are missing is clearly defined areas of operation, which gives a commander a lot of freedom to move units around and create ahistorically effective concentrations (also because the effectiveness of the supply system is not tied to the number of units in an area: each dump or source can supply a battalion or an army group with the same effectiveness) or make commanders that historically didn't cooperate much or even knew where their troops where into a very efficient team.

Fixing units in place often isn't the answer as in the case of Tannenberg, that would be ahistorical.

Galicia 1914, East Front 1915, 1916 or 1917 could be quite interesting, but Tannenberg 1914 could be problematic as the Russian player would be able to coordinate their attacks in a way that wasn't possible for the historical commanders.
