Issue with US troops

Not very helpful guys. I'm seeing Rifle Platoon '42, is that what you are referring to? If so, because of the updates, and added classes of green and veteran infantry, the default unit was named the standard year, in this case the first American rifle platoon, Up10201, was named Rifle Platoon '42, as it has a span of 41 12-53 12. Is this what you all are talking about? For a '44 scenario to have '44 infantry now, they woiuld need to be added in manually, the oob's most likely all used the default 10201 unit is all, now you notice because of a nomenclature change.

This is a problem. For example, if you look at the stock scenario "A Hard Snow Falls", which takes place in 1944 and is one of the best WF PBEM scenarios, all of the US armored infantry are of the 1941 variety, whereas all of the US rifle platoons are of the 1942 variety. This is, IMO, a real problem, because the US infantry is no longer modeled correctly. The hard and soft attack values are no longer correct. Has anyone reported this? Has anything been done to fix this? To quote Star Wars, I have a bad feeling about this . . .

BTW, all of the late war stock scenarios in WF now have this issue. It's really disturbing.

And what I'm trying to say is, nothing but the name was changed!! The stock unit, that are now '41 and '42 were not changed at all, the green and veteran, now new units have different stats, but the ones used only had the name changed to differ from the new ones. We try not to modify the original units data if we can help it, since they are used in all legacy scenarios! The infantry is modelled just how it was, except for the name, not a problem!
